Global Czar Limited, is a Nigeria-based, wholly Nigerian family business incorporated as a diversified investment holding company based in Lagos, with company registration number RC. 1124887.
The inspiration behind Global Czar Limited was Jonah Idahosa Obasogie, the late patriach of the Obasogie royal family of Ohoghobi in Benin City, Edo State of Nigeria. He registered a sole proprietorship to manage the royal lineage's land holdings, agricultural plantations,and food crop farmsteads. He managed these holdings in a very efficient manner, uniting all his siblings, princes and princesses behind a common purpose. Today, there are ninety-seven heirs to Global Czar assets which cuts across protected lands, real estates, share holdings, farmsteads, and plantations.
The current team of managing Trustees decided in 2012 to transform Global Czar and registered it as a Limited Liability company with defined number of shares. This is with a view to forging partnerships with forward-looking investors and turning it into a modern, responsive business organisation. Led by the seasoned President/CEO, Global Czar Limited relies on the experience and expertise of a small team of seven disciplined and professional family Trustees to run and manage the affairs of it's various investment subsidiaries.
We will only engage in clean, genuine business and will go into mutually-rewarding business partnerships with upright organisations from any part of the world without ideological leanings. However, in line with the philosophy of our late patriarch and mentor, we will also be active in public advocacy through our non-profit Trust unit.
Our overall goal is to create and improve on shareholder values from the appreciating returns on the investments we manage.
